What Qostly does

Qostly publishes price guidance and introduces drivers to local garages. We are not a garage, we do not carry out or arrange work, and we are not a party to any agreement you reach with a garage. Any contract for work is between you and that garage.

Qostly does not take a payment, hold money, make a booking or guarantee that either side will proceed. A Qostly agreement is the read-only platform record of the quote and later changes the driver authorised; it does not make Qostly a party to the work.

Qostly Shopping

Qostly Shopping is in development and shows no products or prices yet. Its pages are information about the service we are building, not offers to sell. When it launches, Qostly will not sell products: any purchase will be between you and the retailer, on the retailer's terms. Qostly may earn a commission from some retailer links, as explained in our affiliate disclosure, and commission never affects how offers are ranked.

About our price guidance

Our price ranges are researched, and we show you the source and the date we last checked. They are guidance to help you judge a quote — not a quote themselves, and not a promise about what any particular garage will charge. Prices change, and your vehicle's condition may mean the work costs more or less than the typical figure.

Where we haven't researched a price yet, we say so rather than estimating.

Quotes, diagnosis and changes

When marketplace comparison is enabled, garages are responsible for the accuracy of their parts, labour, VAT treatment, timing, warranties and assumptions. Qostly calculates the displayed arithmetic from those inputs. Accepting a quote locks that revision and closes competing quotes.

A diagnostic quote covers the diagnosis itself. A later repair is a separate proposal that needs your approval. When change orders are enabled, other extra work or credits can be recorded as change orders; the authorised total changes only if the driver approves. Qostly can record an issue but does not decide payment disputes between a driver and garage.

Garage listings

We list garages we have identified as serving the area. A listing is not a recommendation, and our trust labels mean exactly what they say next to them — nothing more. Please satisfy yourself about any garage before giving them your vehicle.

Where a garage has paid for placement, we label it. We label affiliate links too.

What we charge garages

Listing a garage is free, and so is receiving a quote request. We do not charge for quote requests, and we do not charge a subscription.

If we introduce a fee, it will apply only to work a garage wins through Qostly, and we will set out the amount to that garage before it takes effect. It will never be applied to work already carried out. Billing is currently disabled. Any future fee terms will specify the operator and applicable VAT treatment.

Using the request form

Quote intake may be closed while we verify garage supply. When enabled, an email notification being queued or accepted by a provider does not guarantee delivery, a response or an available booking. Unmatched requests need review. Marketplace invitations expire at the deadline shown on the request; retries do not extend it. Please give accurate details, and only submit a request for a vehicle you are responsible for. We may decline or remove requests that look automated or abusive.
